Success Stories

Mic !

Here is another success story we would like to share with everyone :-

"Hi Guys……Remember Me….?? I do hope so because you took good care of me for around 18 months…so I thought I would just drop you a quick hello to thank you for finding me a lovely new home.

It’s been nearly 4 months now since I left and in that time I’ve had lots and lots of lovely walks and made plenty of new friends…

Every morning I get to go for a run and a play on the field at the back of my house and normally meet and play with Rosie the Whippet who you also found a good home a couple of years ago….then I get to go into work and in between my snoozes get plenty of attention during the day even though I am still a little nervous in the car. In the afternoon I always go for a walk as I do just before dinner.

One of my new friends is called Spot who again was one of your residents back in 2001…he is a Staffy cross and when I first met him he seemed to be very cross…!! Although after meeting him a few times he mellowed out and warmed towards me (I mean…who wouldn’t..?) and now when we both go for a walk I think it’s funny to run round him and try to get him to play with me by barking in his ear…which he sometimes does…

I am still a bit of a foodie and can quite often be seen cadging a doggie biscuit from some of the dog walkers and I’d better not mention the baked potatoe that just fell into my mouth when my Daddy’s Mother had just turned away to take a drink of tea (well, that’s my story and I’m sticking to it…!!) ….luckily I wasn’t told off as for some reason they were all looking at me and laughing…and have to say, that tata didn’t half taste good..!!

It’s funny to think that when Daddy came to see me, I wasn’t right bothered for his first 3 visits, but now we are the best of friends and I’m even allowed to sleep on his bed of a night time….although at times I could do with some doggy ear plugs…!!

I don’t get too worried or spooked anymore about people I haven’t met before, especially if they have a dog of their own as I figure that if they are animal lovers, they must be decent folk.

Anyway, I just thought I would say a quick hello to let you know that life has turned out better than I could have ever dreamed and to thank you all for finding me my home where I feel safe and wanted and that I hope you keep up the good work and manage to do the same for all the other residents as you have for me.
