Bob aka Speedy

Bob arrived at Freshfields in a bad way.  He is an ex-racer who had been mistreated and starved by his previous owner. He was adopted by Kate, Bernie and Ashe (another gorgeous rescue dog) 2 years ago this month! Bob had a ravenous appetite and feeding times were an adventure for Kate and Bernie to say the least! With a lot of love, dedication and regular meals, Bob was able to gain some control over this and now he is a fit and healthy dog, with a glossy coat and loveable personality. He loves nothing more than a cuddle and a snooze on one of the 7 "beds" at his disposal in the house - Bob's choice of course.  A common misconception is that greyhounds need tons of exercise, but Bob enjoys quite short walks and a run with Ashe, which is more than enough for him.

Kate and Bernie and Bob have transformed each other's lives - Bob reckons that after a tough start in life he's landed on his paws!
