Address details:Lady Green Lane, Ince Blundell, Liverpool L29 Sponsored Bike RideDeparts from the Hightown Hotel12 Sep 201010 am set offA charity bike ride starting out from the Hightown Hotel in Hightown and traveling along a three and half mile route as far as the Antony Gormley (Another Place) statues in Crosby and back again. The total length of the ride is approximately 7 miles, making it an ideal event for most ages and abilities to take part in. Why not get the whole family involved and make it an opportunity to do something together as well as a fantastic excuse to raise some much needed funds for Freshfields? The route consists of a mixture of cycle paths (some unpaved) and quiet back roads and there are plenty of picnic sites along the way. The route will be marshaled. There is an entry fee of £3 per adult and £1.50 per child and on top of this you need to get yourself sponsored. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and will only be permitted to take part if a signed parental consent form has been received by the rescue. Registration forms, parental consent forms and sponsorship forms are all available from the website or may be downloaded below.
