NewsInky Gets His Splints !Just a quick update on the adorable abandoned puppy Inky. Today Inky has been for his appointment at Hillcrest Veterinary Practice where he has had a number of xrays taken of his deformed legs. The good news is that it is looking like Inky will NOT need to have surgery. His legs have been placed in splints and he can now walk with them straight and hopefully over the next few weeks and months the problem can be encouraged to correct itself. There is a way to go yet and we do not know how long the treatment will need to continue and we must also bear in mind that Inky will continue to grow throughout. The main thing though is that it is looking very promising for this dear little chap! See the video below of Inky's first steps outside of the surgery.
