Fundraising Achievements for our Welsh Rescue
Thursday September 30th 2010
Recently, we have been very lucky in receiving lots of much needed funds from several of our local supporters :-
Christine Clarke held a table top sale at a village hall near Barmouth on Saturday and raised a wonderful £401 for which we are very grateful. Christine has also kindly bought us a supply of hay and horse food.
Mion and Elspeth (Porthmadog shop volunteers) have had stalls at several local markets and have £700 to pay off our ever incxreasing vets bill. Their constant help fundraising is greatly appreciated.
Peter Bailey from Wrexham area generously donated his time this month to re roof our office using donated materials from the compoany for whom he works - Kingspan. which was leaking badly. Last year Kingspan donated materials for our vcattery roof and once again Peter did all the hard work accompanied by a willing friend. This saved us a great deal of money and we cannot thank Peter enough.
THANK YOU TO ONE AND ALL !

Saturday September 25th 2010
Freshfields own star volunteer Breda Sweeney never misses and opportunity to support the rescue.
Breda has recently retired from work and not only does that mean we get to see more of her at the rescue, dog walking, gardening etc etc but also at her retirement party she organized a 'Guess Who This Is' baby photo competition and raised a further £57 pounds for Freshfields!
Thanks Breda.
