NewsSouthport Street CollectionsMonday August 3rd 2009 SOUTHPORT STREET COLLECTIONS RAISE ALMOST £1,000 Many thanks to the 24 Freshfields supporters and volunteers who collected on Lord Street and Chapel Street in Southport over the two days of Friday 24th July and Saturday 25th July. Their efforts raised a magnificent £897 and donations from supporters unable to collect have now pushed that total to £937 - we should certainly top £1,000 next time round ! Members of local Support Groups, individual supporters, Shop volunteers and Centre volunteers and staff all came together to help - our sincere thanks to everyone who took part !
