A Murderous Night at the Punchbowl - First Murder Mystery Evening is a roaring success!

Wednesday May 6th 2009

The scene was set as a hushed audience awaited the start of the Murder Mystery evening. The characters came on stage and played their parts to perfection. But, this was no ordinary murder mystery night, as we were soon to find out.

When the first act was finished the actors mingled with the audience – who subjected them to some serious interrogation. Impromptu scenes were acted out during the evening. The plot thickened and twisted and turned with several shocks along the way, (not to mention the odd dead body). There was a first prize for the winner and a booby prize for the most hysterical solution. Some of the solutions were as funny as the play.

It was a highly successful and engaging evening and everyone went home smiling.

“Bravo” to “A Stab in the Dark” theatre group.  We ARE entertained.  There will be another date coming soon, so watch this space.

The event raised over £300 which went directly to Freshfields Animal Rescue.

If you would like to book a Murder Mystery evening of your own, please contact Jan Robinson on 07983 1604579 or email jan@ghostwalks.org
