NewsIt’s Never Too Soon To Start Helping The Animals!Friday April 24th 2009 Thanks and congratulations to the staff and very young pupils at Busy Bees Nursery in Formby. As part of their “Pet Week” in May they’re holding a cat food collection for Freshfields. And to launch the week they’ll be welcoming two very special visitors; Patsy Fagan and Lyn Gawith from Freshfields who’ll be giving them a talk about our work. We think the pre-schoolers are our youngest supporters yet ……unless you know different – and we’d be delighted to hear from you if you do. Of course individual children of any age can now join our “Young Animal Caretakers” club (information is now on the website or email george.kearton@freshfieldsrescue.org.uk for full details). And, so we don’t get accused of being ageist, (or “reverse ageist” – isn’t political correctness fun ?) we can’t close without reminding you that, whatever your age, there are lots of ways you can help the animals at Freshfields – just ring our Fundraising Manager, George Kearton on 01704 875599 to find out more ! |
