Support Goups in Wales!

We currently have the nucleus of a support group in Porthmadog. New members are needed and would be gladly welcomed.

Helping Freshfields in Your Local Area…

One of the effects of the Recession is that Company and Charitable Trust donations become harder to get.

Luckily, Freshfields has hundreds of Supporters across Merseyside and, if we want to keep the doors open for animals in distress then we really need to enlist their help.

Our network of Support Groups across Merseyside is begining to take shape. These Groups (with help from Jane Young our fundraising co-ordinator) will organise local fundraising events on a regular basis as well as spreading the word about Freshfields and the work we do.

SOUTHPORT SUPPORT GROUP – was established at the end of November 2008 and now a number of successful events under it's belt, not least of which 'The Southport Fashion Show' and 'Hotpop Supper'. We are very grateful to group secretary Mrs Chris Lean, treasurer Mrs Elizabeth Cavanagh and to all those who have become members of the Southport Support Group.

ST HELENS AND KNOWSLEY SUPPORT GROUP  - in need of further group members to get on it's feet.

CROSBY/WATERLOO/LITHERLAND SUPPORT GROUP – has had a promising start but further members are needed to build solid foundations similar to those of the Southport Group.

ORMSKIRK AND DISTRICT SUPPORT GROUP  (including Scarisbrick, Aughton, Melling, Maghull and Lydiate) – still in it's formative stages. Come on people of Ormskirk! We need your support!

NORTH LIVERPOOL – Currently recruiting additional members. Group leader is Wendy Creed, ably supported by husband Mike.
