AppealsWoodchip Desperately NeededEvery year here at Freshfields in Liverpool we put down approximately 14 tonnes of woodchip on our farm to give the animals something suitable to stand on. With all the bad weather we have been having recently the farm is looking awful and the ground is literally turning to sludge! We have been lucky over the last few years to have a kind supporter donate us this huge amount of woodchip all in one go but this year we have so far been unable to contact them. We are appealing for anyone who is able to get hold of any woodchippings, no matter how large or small the amount may be. Hopefully we can this way we can get hold of enough of the stuff to spread around, even if not as much as we have normally, to give the animals a more pleasant living environment. If anyone is able to help us out or knows anyone who can then please contact the rescue, it will be greatly appreciated! |
