Reliable, Dedicated Paranormal Enthusiasts Wanted

Haunted Liverpool manager Jan Robinson is looking to build a dedicated team of enthusiasts of 'all things Ghostly' to help run events throughout Liverpool and the surrounding area. Jan needs reliable team members who are happy to give up a few hours each week or month to help marshall events, sell raffle tickets, man the door etc, etc.  There are multiple voluntary positions available and your own transport is essential although basic expenses may be met.

Volunteers need to be outgoing and be able to work with large groups of people. Ghost Walk marshals will be required to lead the Ghost Hunt, tell a short story in the cemetery and interact with the group and the Guide. Some acting ability is preferred, but not essential. Training and scripts will be given to succesful applicants. Some public speaking will be required at certain events and training will be given.

Haunted Liverpool is a fundraising arm of Freshfields Animal Rescue with all profit going to the charity.

Blankets and Towels Needed Urgently!

Can anyone help with donations of blankets, towels and Newspapers for the animals please?

We are currently incredibly low on supplies of these items meaning that we aren't able to keep the animals quite as snuggly as we would like!  If you are able to supply a dog, cat or even hedgehog with a comfotable bed then please drop your donations off at the Liverpool centre or any of our charity shops!

Stock required for St Helens shop

Our shop in St Helens need good quality clothing and small items of furniture.  A collection service is available locally for items too big to bring along yourself.

We need CDs for our Southport shop.  If you can help please drop them in at Wesley Street, the centre or any of our other charity shops.

Donations needed in Llandudno Shop

We desperately need donations of saleable stock at our Llandudno shop.  Any items of clothing, bric-a-brac, books, DVD's etc that are suitable for reselling will be greatfully received at the shop which is open Monday to Saturday.  If you are unsure whether a particular item is suitable please contact us directly on 01492 875747.

Llandudno Shop Volunteers !

Volunteers are urgently needed at our charity shop in Llandudno.

The shop is situated on Lloyd Street, just off the towns busy High Street and is open Monday through to Saturday.  Volunteers are needed on each of these days with the priority at the moment being Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays.

Guinea Pig Food/Bedding/Toys

As you will see from our Special Appeal Animal pages, the Liverpool rescue has recently taken in 16 Guinea Pigs from a home where breeding had gotten out of control.

These little piggies all need lots of fresh hay as bedding, tubes and tunnels to play in, fresh veg to keep their vitamin C intake up and good quality guinea pig food to build them up and keep them healthy.

All donations are very gratefully received!  These little guys have had a very rocky start in life but there's plenty of time for us to put that right with your help!

Home Checkers Needed!

We are currently in need of extra volunteer 'home checkers' in the Southport and Formby area to home check for our Cattery unit.

Full training will be given so if you are flexible, a cat lover and willing to donate some of your free time to check the suitability of potential adoptee cat homes then please contact the rescue on 0151 931 1604 and ask to leave your details for Caroline our cattery manager or email directly

Ghost Walk Marshalls Urgently Required!

Due to our recent expansion, we are looking for outgoing individuals who would be willing to marshal on our Ghostwalks.
 
A costume will be provided (see photo) and full training will be given.  This is a great way to spend an evening or afternoon and it's lots of fun too. 
 
This is a volunteer post but travel expenses will be paid if needed.
