Freshfields Liverpool Drawing Competition - calling all talented young people!

The Liverpool rescue centre has launched a drawing competition, the winners of which will be chosen at our Summer Fun Day on Sunday the 17th of July.

There are two category's that young people may enter, these are ‘My Pet' and ‘Fantasy Animals', if entering the ‘My Pet' category the drawings should naturally be of the young persons own pets and if entering the ‘Fantasy Animals' category the pictures should be of animals that exist only in the imagination.

There are three age groups in each category and these are 5-7 years, 8-11 years and 12-15 years.

All you need to do is create your picture (max size A4) by hand, and colour it in (or not) as creatively as you wish. Each picture should include the following information on the back:

Name, Address, Age, Category Entered

Each entry may be given a name if wished but this is not compulsory.

All entries should be posted to me (Helen Stanbury) at the Liverpool rescue, to arrive no later than Friday July 8th 2011.

The winners will be announced at the Freshfields ‘Summer Fun Day' on Sunday July 17th which is to be opened by Big Brothers first winner, Craig Phillips, and each winner will receive a small prize for themselves plus a certificate. Copies of the winning pictures will be displayed at the rescue centre for our visitors to view. Please note - computer generated images will not be accepted!

We would love to see some really creative entries so please seek out some inspiration and start creating today! We also hope that some of the families of people submitting them will come along to the 'Summer Fun Day' to see the winners chosen!
