| My name is: |
Thomas |
| Status: |
I so want a new home!!! |
| I was admitted: |
April 28 2011 |
| I think I am: |
11 years old |
| Reason I was brought here: |
My owner died and nobody wanted me and I had nowhere to go. The woman who brought me here (along with my mate Sparks) said that I originally came from the rescue. The staff said that couldn't be because they had no record of me and I wasn't microchipped to them. I have to say this made me feel really wanted - NOT! A grieving, displaced feline who everyone denied, unwanted and unloved! Poor me! |
| Reason I am still here: |
Well, it didn't take the staff long to figure out that I am fantastic! Unfortunately as an older boy I am not nearly as popular as those youngsters and have been overlooked since my arrival. |
| I am a: |
Male |
| Vaccinated: |
Yes I am |
| Neutered: |
Yes I am |
| I like children: |
Yes but I prefer them not too young or rowdy. |
| I like dogs: |
Yes or at least well behaved ones. |
| I like cats: |
l like cats but am an attention hogger and prefer not to share! |
| I like smalll animals: |
Really small ones I could probably chase - is that what this question means? |
| I do not like: |
Being in a rescue centre. Being overlooked. Not having a family, comfy chair, blanket and fireplace to call my own. These things are crucial to the happiness of most cats and I am no exception. |
| My temperament / personality: |
Well now... my profile says that I am a very friendly and ever so affectionate feline. A truly tactile older man in need of that very special home. Just great formy age, solid and dependable. Aparently I will be a truly invaluable friend to some lucky folk! |
| Condition upon arrival: |
I was in good condition upon arrival. |
| Condition now: |
I'm still in good condition but I feel kind of depressed. The staff do their best for me but this isn't a real home! I need that fireplace I spoke about earlier and to feel that the family I am with value me and believe I am truly important and worthy of their attention. The whole situation makes me feel a bit stressed and that sometimes leads to an upset tum. I am on a sensitivity diet at the moment because of my tum but this might well settle if I ever get that home I so badly need. |
| I require this special care: |
The special care is all really easy stuff... love, patience, security, tolerance whilst I settle in etc, etc. Nothing that should prove too taxing for anyone. |
| Possible future requirements & financial implications: |
Keep up my sensitivity diet for as long as needed and then see how we go. |
| My ideal family would be: |
This is so very easy. Any family that has a relatively quiet environment, that loves to share affection with me and for me. A patient home without young children that moves at a fairly easy pace. My friend Sparks has gone to a home already and whilst I did miss him initially I actually prefer to have all the attention for myself so being the only the pet is a good thing for me so long as someone is around to make a fuss of me quite a lot.
I'm obviously very keen to get myself established in my new home asap so if you are interested in offering me a home please be sure to contact the Liverpool rescue on 0151 931 1604 as soon as possible please |
