LarryLarry was brought in to us in late spring of 2010. He was just a lamb at the time and was due to be destroyed as he had a broken leg which wasn't considered worth fixing. Luckily for Larry a supporter of the rescue who was at that time working in Scotland disagreed with this assessment and decided that not only was Larry worth saving but he was worth a trip all the way from the wilds of Scotland to the outskirts of Liverpool. Larry spent a number of weeks with his leg in a cast but is fully grown and fighting fit at the moment. Truth be told Larry is a character and a half, he can't keep his nose out of anything, is very determined and leads us all a merry dance at every opportunity he gets. In 2011 it was necessary for Larry to have his leg in a cast a second time as he had managed to fracture it again, how he did it we will probably never know, however anyone who has been around him for any extended period of time will tell you that it was almost certainly whilst he was busy interfering in something he shouldn't! |
