Honey

Honey is one of 5 dogs that we have taken in from Romania.  Another charity asked for our help after the founder/owner of a Romanian rescue had died, all 350 dogs were in danger of being put to sleep unless help could be sought for them from around Europe.  Luckily for these lovely dogs we were able to help and subsequently took in 9 dogs altogether (4 went to our Welsh rescue and 5 stayed here in Liverpool).  We are so glad to have been able to help save these little lives and meet these wonderful dogs!  Honey is a little darling, she can't believe her luck that she has a big field to run and play in and boy does she like it!  We expected after 3 gruelling days of non-stop travelling from Eastern Europe, that she would take a while to settle in, but by the next morning Honey was happy and full of anticipation for her wonderful new life!  Honey is a sweet girl, she is very affectionate but also happy to bimble around the field enjoying time by herself.  She has little fun moments were she is quietly sniifing something, then has a burst of energy and runs like a puppy tucking her bottom in and asking the other dogs to chase her!  Honey is very sweet and will make a lovely friend for someone.  As an ex-street dog we are looking for a home with no young children (over 15 years only).  She is good with other dogs as she has always been surrounded by them.  Honey is awaiting finding a new mum and dad after years of being a street dog and she can't wait to have a family of her own!
