Freya

Freya was brought into the rescue as a stray, but nobody came forward to claim her. She is a very young lively little girl, that is full of mischief! Freya is finding life in kennels so stressful that she will vent her frustration by chewing on the lead when out on walks. This is Freya's way of trying to deal with the stresses of kennel life, for this reason, Freya has been moved from the kennel and is now in a room by herself were there is less noise and commotion to upset her. Freya is currently only being taken out on walks by staff so that we can ensure that she is not getting too much for her to deal with.

Freya can be naughty with other dogs when shes on the lead. Freya would probably best suit an adult only home and a home without any other pets. Kennels are not the ideal place for young dogs to grow up as they do not get enough time and attention devoted to them. As Freya is still young she will require somebody to be home most of the day to give her the time and attention she needs and deserves.
