Floyd

Floyd came to us from a home with eight children. He was shut outside and tormented by them. He is a lovely, sweet dog but due to his past he doesn’t like us interfering with him in any way.

Despite his cruel history, Floyd is a very loving and affectionate dog. With a patient owner willing to put time into helping him overcome his trust issues, Floyd will make an amazing, fun friend. When Floyd first came into the rescue he was not used to a lead and had never been walked.  However he has a long term dog walker who has put in a lot of time with him and he is now able to go out on walks.  Care needs to be taken when walking him as Floyd will lung at cars, but he is generally well behaved on the lead if there are no distractions.

Floyd needs an experienced dog owner and a home with no children. He will need someone who will commit to helping him and not return him at the first hurdle, as this will only make his trust issues worse. Are you the person that will give Floyd a new start in life? Please don’t over look him!
