Freshfields Sponsorship

Lesley's Trek

Mission...run for FreshfieldsWe are looking for people who would like to take on the challenge of The Great North Run and get sponsorship to raise money for Freshfields.

This is a half marathon around Newcastle.
If you think you've got what it takes why not apply for a place. www.greatrun.org .You will need to contact the event yourself but we can provide you with a sponsorship pack, including a t-shirt and sponsorship forms.

The event is in September 2009 so plenty of time for training, but you will need to book a place in January.

Runner, help us by doing a sponsored eventAre you a couch potato who is determined to get fit in 2008, or perhaps you are already fit and looking for a new challenge?  Whichever category you fall into, the best way to keep focused and boost your motivation is by signing up for a charity event and supporting Freshfields Animal Rescue.

Why not get sponsored for Freshfields?

There are hundreds of events to choose from throughout the year for all levels of ability, and you don’t have to travel to the other end of the country to take part.  To name just a few, there is the 10K Great Manchester Run in May, the 5K Liverpool Women’s Challenge in September and of course the Liverpool/Chester Bike Ride in July. You could even organise your own event and include the kids.

The Internet will provide lots more information, but whichever event you choose, your personal sense of achievement will only be matched by your pride at raising funds for your chosen charity.

Freshfields has been providing care for neglected and abused animals for over thirty years and Animal Charities are often overlooked when it comes to sponsorship. So, if you are an animal lover, please give us a thought.

For a sponsorship pack please email us

admin@freshfieldsrescue.org.uk
We will need your name, address and T shirt size (med. 38/40” or XL 44”)  so that we can send you the pack and the name and date of the event you are entering for our records.

Sponsorship is a new fundraising initiative for Freshfields but we are already being supported by Declan who is taking part in the Liverpool half marathon, Christine from Bolton who is organising a team walk in Tockholes and Peter who is undertaking the Liverpool/Chester Bike ride.
